Readers' comments bring some comfort
Last week's column drew many reader emails and letters after I shared coping with my aging dog. My dog died Saturday after strokes or brain damage. Thanks to those who wrote, especially Gladys Adcox with Sissy tale and Gladys’s marker. Sharon Harper offered feeding advice and shared Irving Townsend quote about memory and mortality. Jimmie Atkinson described her four dogs and travel with them, noting dogs provide comfort through loss. SEE LEE PAGE 3A
