Eisenhower Letters Refute Divorce Claims By Biographer Son
Phoenixville Pa AP letters written by Dwight D Eisenhower to his wife during World War II are presented in a new book edited by his son John Eisenhower. The volume argues there is no evidence Ike sought a divorce to wed his chauffeur Kay Summersby and notes some affection but not love letters. It covers 1942 to 1946 while Ike led Allied European operations.
