I-10 widening in Harris and Chambers faces delays
TxDOT projects on I-10 from Magnolia to Spur 330 resume after a September pause caused by four Gulf storms. Crews report soil differences between sandy and clay soils slowed work, with two additional lanes planned and a phase two traffic re-route in about four months. Completion expected in six months, plus a July finish for Spur 330 flyover at an estimated $20 million.
