Texas H1N1 vaccine doses allocated and rollout plan
Texas has about 5.4 million H1N1 vaccine doses allocated. Providers decide who may receive shots with priority groups including pregnant women, children 6 months to 24 years, high risk adults 25 to 64, health care workers, and close contacts of young babies. Officials note H1N1 cases appear to be falling but warn waves may return before flu season ends in May.
