First team honors go to Naomi Hockless, Bailee St. Romain, and Taylor Kotarz with Player of the Year recognition for Kotarz. Charli Collier, a Barbers Hill High School product, earned the Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 30 after a 44 point 16 rebound effort against North Texas and a 25 point 12 rebound opener versus SMU. The junior forward center previously won a co honor on Dec. 23, 2019, and tied for fourth in Texas history with 44 points in Sunday's 106-69 win.

Junior schools wrap season in North Channel League
The 2020 fall season ended amid COVID-19 with Dayton sweeping both eighth grade titles A and B while Cedar Bayou took seventh grade A and Crosby won 7B. Dayton 8A defeated Barbers Hill South 35-0 and Crosby 41-0 as Barbers Hill South dominated volleyball across 8A 8B and 7A with a 23-0 record.
