Beware the online romance scam on Zoosk
A unnamed friend recounts a Zoosk dating experience that turned into a classic romance scam. The suitor, claiming European roots and Malaysia work, sent hundreds of emails, asked for a loan to cover an air ticket, then vanished as soon as money moved. Alerts on Caller ID, fake addresses, and a South Africa origin emerged. The piece urges caution and provides FBI reporting resources.
