Harris County District Attorney Kenneth Magidson closed an eight month probe into former District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal with a finding of insufficient evidence for prosecution. In a December 2 letter to Deputy Texas AG for Criminal Justice Eric J R Nichols, Magidson said the review was careful and independent and concluded there was insufficient evidence for prosecution. The conflict began in January when the county SEE DAY PAGE 5A.
Goose Creek CISD has rescheduled the first committee review of the district’s Special Education Program for Friday. The meeting will not be open to the public or press. the Baytown Sun will contact district officials later. An ad hoc committee was appointed after concerns raised at the November 17 board meeting. A special needs parent urged action during that meeting.
