Christmas cheer in Channel City as holiday prep begins
In Channel City the writer notes December 1 as a Friday and counts 24 days to Christmas. He recalls older habits of delaying tree purchases, praises neighbors decorating early, and recounts a Thanksgiving with family at Saint Andrews Drive. A Cajun smoked turkey surprise wins praise and the tale ends with home decorating lore and light handyman humor.
