Paul HENRY PAUL PUSHES A PRO-VETERANS AGENDA IN TEXAS

U S congressman James Paul highlighted veteran aid efforts during a tour in Southeast Texas. He backed the Veterans Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2006 to raise disability and survivor benefits tied to inflation. He also pressed to delay base closures, and presented 19 veterans with commendations in Victoria, while arranging with a World War II veteran to obtain a missing Navy Cross. He toured Mont Belvieu and Beach City events.
