Gilberto Garcia Marks 40 Years At HORC Refinery
Gilberto Garcia, long time Baytown Refinery sand blasting worker, celebrates 40 years with Humble. A native of San Vincente Mexico, he moved to Uvalde Texas and worked for the Texas Highway Department before joining the Baytown Refinery Labor Department in 1925. He transferred to the sand blasting group in 1936 and is active in church and civic life with his wife Angelita. They vacation yearly in Monterrey Mexico and have one daughter, Elda Santana, and three grandchildren.
