Low Bidders Named on Highway 225 Improvements
Texas Highway Department lists low bids on two State Highway 295 projects in Houston and Pasadena areas. Trotti Thomson Inc of Beaumont submitted 2,189,000 for construction from mile west of Allen Genoa to Shaver Street with freeway standards and overpasses at Allen Genoa and Scarborough. Ross Anlin and Son of Austin bid 1,010,042 for a bridge over Sims Bayou and grade separations at Highway 295 and Interstate 610. Eight bids were received. both lows below estimates.
