Fire kills Baytown man as investigators probe cause
Baytown firefighters found 82 year old Jimmy Tesar dead inside a structure on Missouri Street after a early Friday blaze. Arson investigators and police say there were no obvious signs of foul play though autopsy and forensic work will determine exact death cause. Firefighters battled a fully involved two story residence with engines and a tower unit, stabilizing the building before investigators could enter. The victim was dropped off at the home by family members the prior night. Homicide detectives, Harris County Institute of Forensic Science personnel, and arson investigators are on scene reviewing the incident.
