Memorial Rites Held for Lee College Student Myers Jr
Memorial services were held Wednesday at the Baptist Student Union building on Lee College campus for Chester Lavern Myers Jr., a Lee College student who died Monday. Rev. Mack Smoke led the service as many students attended. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Crescent Heights Baptist Church in Abilene, with burial at Granville Cemetery in Danville, Texas. Myers was the son of Col and Mrs Chester Myers of Abilene.
