Company E heads to Camp Hood for two week training
First Lieutenant Axel H. Schoyen announced a 12:01 pm roll call tomorrow as 66 enlisted men and three officers of Company E prepare to leave for Camp Hood. A 4 am Houston departure brings the unit to meet the 143rd Infantry Regiment, arriving at the camp by 6 pm. Three men have already advanced to North Camp Hood with mess sergeant J D Cannan and Sergeants Edward G. N and James A. Bond arranging meals.
