Conn's plat denial sparks debate over driveways
Baytown officials report the Planning and Zoning Commission rejected Conn's preliminary and final plat due to three driveways serving the site next to Lowe's on Garth. The plan shows a central main building with space on both sides for six to seven retailers and a three-entrance parking lot. The board desires two entrances or a traffic study justifying three, noting the panel lacks power to regulate driveways.
