Economic foundation appoints director
Michael K Shields of Huntington West Virginia will become the first director of the Baytown Area West Chambers County Economic Development Foundation. He previously led Putnam County Development Authority since 1984 and has twelve years in economic and industrial development. He and his wife Donna have two sons and will relocate once housing is found. He touted Baytown and West Chambers County assets including access to a metropolitan area, schools, transport, highways, water, air, rail, and a ready work force.
