Crosby The Crosby FFA Community Fair and Rodeo Auction raised 364000 for area youths, well above last year. Auction proceeds totaled 64180 from 106 items, with front winners John Johnson and Justin George auctioning champion steers to Greenwade Services and Crosby State Bank respectively. Other grand champions sold included swine Kami Becky Seiter and chicken Kyle Rubin among others.

I-10 widening projects progress toward completion
A Texas highways spokesman says major I-10 improvements from Oates to Federal and Loop 610 to Frankie Road should finish by year end.
