Open house for CPL Jerry Williams is slated Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at his parents’ home 121 Timberline. Williams recently returned from four years in the Marine Corps. The event is extended to friends via the press.

Humble Oil will construct the world's largest fluid catalytic cracking unit at its Baytown refinery with initial capacity of 129000 barrels daily. The project, announced by J R Barsalou at a Baytown Chamber luncheon, consolidates two existing crackers into a single, expandable facility. Construction starts this fall and completes in late 1966, with new major vessels and integration with a hydrocracking unit to meet rising demand for high octane gasoline and other products.

Funeral services for Joseph Johnney Jones 38 husband of Ophelia Jones a Baytown official are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Paul U Lee Funeral Home. Jones died at 10 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital after living in Baytown 44 years. Born August 25 1906 in Chambers County he lived at 310 North Jones Street. Survived by his widow his parents Mr and Mrs Allen F Jones of Baytown and other relatives. The Rev M E McPhail will officiate and Cedar Crest Cemetery will be the burial site.
