SUV Rollover Near Miss at Chevron Station
A Ford Explorer rolled over in the Chevron parking lot at Garth and Baker Roads just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, grazing a leaving Chevrolet Monte Carlo and stopping near the pumps. Three occupants were taken to the hospital with minor injuries while the Monte Carlo driver was unharmed. The Explorer was cited for no insurance as investigators consider high center of gravity a factor.

Mont Belvieu budgets advance with four funds review
Mont Belvieu City Administrator Bryan Easum outlined budget steps as four largest funds the general fund utility fund golf course and rec center have been reviewed. In the next two weeks capital funds will be examined while the proposed tax rate remains at 43.67 cents. General fund revenues are projected to rise 2.66 percent due to higher sales and use tax from industrial growth, with the overall general budget up 1.48 percent from last year.

Baytown Crime Stoppers seeks help locating three black men suspected of an assault and attempted robbery at Avalon Bay Apartments on Northwood Drive just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
