A 32 year old man was assaulted by two males while pumping gas near 10 p.m. Sunday at a gas station in the 1700 block of North Alexander. They stole his wallet and keys and fled. The victim received minor injuries at a local hospital.

Tools stolen from cars in church parking lot incident
Tools and electronic equipment valued over 1000 dollars were taken from two churchgoers’ vehicles in the 3400 block of Business Highway 146 during Sunday services between 11:15 a.m. and noon. A separate crash on the 3400 block of Garth Road at 1 a.m. Monday ended with the driver cited for failing to stop and provide information. About 500 dollars in damage was caused to a tree.
