Arkema asks court to terminate prosecution over misconduct
Arkema Inc and co defendants move to end the case citing ongoing misconduct by prosecutors under the Michael Morton Act and Brady v Maryland. They accuse withholding exculpatory evidence about AkzoNobel's Harvey response and allege multiple failures to disclose material information and witness details during trial. Over 200 residents evacuated. 21 hospitalised but no deaths or serious injuries.
