A hearing resumed Thursday in Pasadena to recover city records from the district attorney's office. Judge Ben Moorhead presides as Pasadena seeks over 200000 in damages from Frank Briscoe and aides, plus court orders to return subpoenaed city financial records. The defense may argue custody by the grand jury renders the suit invalid and question Mayor James Brammer's legal status in filing.
