U.S. raids net 24 regime loyalists in Tikrit sweep
In a Sunday operation west and north of Baghdad, 300 soldiers from the 3rd Armored Cavalry raided five sites near Tikrit. They detained about two dozen people including a close associate of a guerrilla organizer and seized documents. No fatal attacks on American troops occurred for two days.

Local boy tours hospital outpatient surgery center
