Capline system under Shell Pipe Line Corp with six other owners moves a 630 mile line from St. James Louisiana to Patoka Illinois toward 1968 start. Initial capacity 400000 barrels daily, potential rise to about 1 million barrels as demand grows. Construction uses air lifted pipe sections across Ohio River at Patapsco. Also note theft of windshield washer reservoir from Lumus Dodge between Wednesday 7 p.m. and Thursday 7:15 p.m., value 3.25, investigated by Patrolman James Glenn.

Cub Scout Pack 235 held its annual Olympia Day outing at McCollum Park. Fifty one attended and took part in relay races tow sack races and crab battles from the pier. Next week the scouts plan a trip to Camden Tex to ride the Moscow Camden and San Augustine Railroad.
