National Night Out events draw Baytown crowds
Officer Ken Terry estimated about 4,000 residents joined National Night Out activities sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and Baytown Police. Firefighters visited block parties at Bergeron Park and other neighborhoods, where families toured the fire truck, kids posed in gear, and residents renewed civic association dues. Community members across Craigmont, Country Club Cove, Plumwood, and other areas shared hot dogs, games, and safety demos while police emphasized neighbor connections and gun safety education.
