Goose Creek Trail Links Baytown Parks to a 5.5 Mile Natural Loop
Beginning near Goose Creek Oil Field Baytown grew around oil. In the 1990s the Goose Creek Wetlands Center and Goose Creek Trail were created. The 2009 original trail runs from Bayland Island to Park Street and a 2014 extension adds over a mile to connect to Emmett Hutto Boulevard. The route passes 13 parks and offers a tranquil alternative for walkers and cyclists.
