The Clean-L p Day at the Baytown Youth Fair Grounds takes place Saturday. Members are to bring equipment to work with and participate in a community cleanup event at the fair grounds.

Four persons were wounded in a shooting Thursday evening at the Cactus acetate Club in San Jacinto. Victims include Dorothy Simmons of 1216 Oak and James Ray Savoie of Jennings Louisiana who were treated for gunshot wounds at local hospitals. Police reported bystanders were shot at, and investigation continues.
