Wallisville Lake Project unveils new accessible facilities
The Army Corps of Engineers Wallisville Lake Project announces new public facilities at the Trinity River Island Recreation Area for spring and summer usage. A fishing pier and fish cleaning station near boat ramps support anglers, while an observation tower offers views of river and wildlife and a solar powered gazebo lights Long Point Picnic Area. The project spans more than 23,000 acres along the Trinity River, located off I 10 exit 806.
