Royal red shrimp boat under construction in Texas
Rockport Tex RP first vessel designed to fish royal red shrimp is being built at Rockport Yacht and Supply Co for R E Clegg who runs a Port Lavaca shrimp fleet. The boat mimics Bering Sea trawlers and can handle rough seas, carrying oversized winches and a mile of steel line for royal reds found deep offshore.
