Library board weighs PG 13 films for public viewings
Sterling librarians debated movie ratings after a PG 13 Harry Potter screening during spring break. Zoe Krizak urged banning PG 13 titles, while Katherine Brown argued ratings are guidelines and aim to boost teen membership. The board noted practical issues with permission slips and pondered whether checkouts could face similar age considerations. Summer lineup remains PG rated with films like Chronicles of Narnia and Madagascar slated for Fridays.
