County resolution backs full funding for UTMB Galveston

Harris County Commissioners Court unanimously approved a resolution urging federal state and local funding bodies to restore and rebuild the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Commissioner Sylvia R. Garcia placed the measure noting UTMB’s regional impact, teaching role, and research prominence beyond Galveston Island.
