District mulls attendance zone panel on Pumphrey relocation
Baytown area school board weighs forming an attendance zone revision committee as it debates relocating Jessie Lee Pumphrey Elementary and West Town Complex at the start of 2009 2010. A March 30 vote prompted by a pipeline risk report sparked public outcry and a March 31 meeting with district leaders. A timeline for relocation and an April 30 public meeting are planned while Goose Creek superintendent candidates undergo interviews.
