Traffic gridlock on Baytown roads slows daily commutes
Janie Gray, publisher of The Baytown Sun, reports on Highway 146 lane closures and a 50 mph limit that has not eased congestion. Drivers cite texting, frequent construction, and rising volumes on Garth Road and Decker Drive as frustrating. Traffic lights at North Main, Hunt Road, and Cedar Bayou are hoped to improve flow.
