Council approves hotel renovation funding and zoning actions
Baytown council approved an interlocal agreement and a Chapter 380 grant totaling about 100 200 for exterior hotel improvements at the Del Mont Hotel on Defoe Street in the Arts Culture and Entertainment district. The Chapa renovation will convert the building into seven loft apartments and three retail spaces. The meeting also approved a food truck ordinance amendment extending stationary time to six hours and increasing required restroom distance to 300 feet.
