Allies strike Syria over suspected gas attack before UN report
The United States Britain and France launched missiles at Syria over suspected chlorine and sarin use near Douma as a U N inspectors team arrived in Damascus and amid doubts about Russian and Syrian claims. Western officials cited open source video witness accounts and aid workers footage to support the assessment that barrel bombs delivered the chemicals. Prime Minister Theresa May cited reports of a barrel bomb used to deliver the chemicals.
