Science comes alive on Crockett Elementary mobile exhibit
First graders in Tim Bailey's class at Crockett Elementary collected turtles, corn snakes, a bearded dragon, leopard geckos, a tarantula and a scorpion to form a traveling science exhibit. Donated materials from Home Depot and Baytown wetlands center, plus PTO support, funded a mobile unit for transport and care. Students study temperature, habitats, physical properties and eating habits, sharing findings via classroom videos shown on a hallway TV each Friday.
