Rettig's Ice Cream Remembered in Baytown Nostalgia
A fond reminiscence chronicles Rettig's as a landmark ice cream parlor once at Market and Cherry, nearby Blue Arrow Café, plus other Baytown and Goose Creek ice cream spots. The piece recalls jukebox afternoons after games at Humble Park and Arcadia showings, with local shops like Bernstein's Wiener’s Humble Bee and MBA clinic shaping a once-bustling company town.
