West Main Street from Alexander Drive to Lee Drive will close at noon Monday for a city topping project weather permitting. City Manager J B Le Fevre said the closure will likely last through Tuesday and must be cleared for the work.

The BEF petitions the National Labor Relations Board to set an early election to determine which union represents 2,625 Baytown refinery workers.
