Baytown Opens Youth 3 on 3 Basketball League
The City of Baytown will run a Summer Youth 3 on 3 league for students entering 3rd through 12th grades for 2007-2008. Ten games plus a double header schedule on Saturdays at Pumphrey Elementary outdoor courts. Registration costs 35 dollars, includes a T Shirt, with a April 27 deadline and May 7 start. Baytown Christian Academy kicks off its first golf fundraiser since 2000 at Goose Creek Country Club on May 4. The four man scramble offers a one million dollar hole in one prize from 180 yards, a ten thousand dollar 50 foot putt contest, goody bags, lunch, and prizes including drivers and clubs. Proceeds are locally matched by the Seneff Family Foundation Tim and Michelle Seneff, with mulligan purchase options available and $125 per person entry.
