Talent Show Set At Teacher Meet

Baytown teachers will display talents at the Baytown Education Association meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday April 11 in the Robert E Lee High School auditorium. Sam Jamison of Highlands Junior High directs the annual program with Mrs Mabel Parker and Mrs Beate Gregory performing oral and piano pieces. Channelview seeks exit from San Jacinto junior college district

Baylor Choir To Sing Here at Memorial Church

Baylor University Chapel Choir directed by Dr. Euell Porter will perform Friday night at Memorial Baptist Church. Miss Sharon Myers, Baylor student and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Myers, will sing with the six voice choir. An offering will be taken to aid travel expenses. Members arrive by bus at 6 pm, rehearse at 4 pm, and dine at the church before the concert.
