Crosby drainage repairs to be addressed
The Harris County Flood Control District will start a 250000 maintenance project to re grade and widen the ditch along North Diamondhead Boulevard and add storm sewer and inlets on Golf Club Drive. The work aims to convey offsite drainage to Gum Gully and improve drainage on Golf Club Drive in the Newport Subdivision. Heavy equipment will operate near the site and vegetation removal is needed on the north side of North Diamondhead Boulevard. The storm sewer will be installed behind the curb on Golf Club Drive and the project will take about a month to complete with sidewalks and driveways replaced after installation.
