April Fools in High School Days of Miser and Mischief
A reflective reminiscence of April Fool's pranks at a high school, where T-Bone recalls the tradition, the principal O D Miser's dual role as disciplinarian and bandleader, and the social priorities of students toward girls, smoking, and sports. The piece questions whether today’s youth understand April Fool's Day and hints at personal growth beyond adolescence.

Life is short. Live it up. Khrushchev quote and Isaiah verse
A compact juxtaposition of a Khrushchev quip about living boldly with a biblically framed Isaiah passage. The items reflect historical and theological statements, presenting a cultural snapshot rather than a narrative. The text combines a secular leader’s line with a religious verse for thematic contrast.
