Linda Greenlee and Ronald Parker wed in a candlelit ceremony Saturday in the Bayard Methodist Church. Rev. Dale Bass officiated before bronze and orange gladioli as family and friends gathered from multiple Iowa towns and Minneapolis. The couple plans to reside in Des Moines after a brief honeymoon.
The calendar lists church events and meetings including a Thursday gathering with Arnold and Stensen and a Friday banquet at the church. Arts and Crafts met Friday in Town Hall with Mrs Paul Booth as chairman. Members made sachet balls and 41 women were served refreshments by hostesses Mesdames Booth Ochetree and Hidlebaugh. Next meeting is October 28. Also notes visitors from St Paul Minnesota attended funeral in Scranton for Lloyd Blackley.
