Washington trip ends as Lloyds visit DC area
John Lloyd and grandmother Mrs Mabel Brown returned by plane from a ten day visit to Washington DC and area guests of Mr and Mrs Joe Fisher of Rockwell Maryland. They toured Monticello Mt Vernon Skyline Drive Blue Ridge Cavern at Luray and other sites. Attending church camp Laura Shackelford and Janelle Stone are at Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp Story City this week. Out of state guests include Harold Dobiyanski Conroe Texas Mae Stewart and Esther Schubert Lincoln Nebraska visiting the Stewart home. Mae is Elick Stewarts daughter. Elick had just left Bayard Care Center after months there.

Des Moines Couple Attends Duluth Funeral of Art Johnson
Mr and Mrs Henry Randolph and Mr and Mrs Harry Shackelford traveled to Duluth Minnesota Friday to attend the funeral of Art Johnson on Saturday. Johnson was an uncle to the Randolph and Shackelford families. They returned Sunday as Mrs Mildred Shackelford remained in Guthrie Center with the children.
