The Bayard Guthrie County Pork Producers banquet featured the 12th annual event with a bake pie contest. Marvel Kenney won first and fifth in the open division while YJB home ec students swept junior pies with six of eleven entries by both male and female bakers.

Bayard Class Of 1965 Holds Ten Year Reunion
The Bayard high school 1965 class marked its tenth reunion Saturday December 27 at Springbrook State Park Conservation Center. About twenty members and spouses gathered for an evening of recollections with a welcome and prayer by class president Doug Raymond before dinner at seven. A brief program recalled the 18 years in school, and a letter from Jerry Hall of Stanford California was read. Discussion of a 15 year reunion in 1980 led to plans for an All Alumni weekend.
