Tom Goodwin Dead but Active in Baxter Enterprise
Thomas Holland Goodwin longtime Baxter resident died at home on Saturday September 3 after a lingering illness. Born April 9 1853 in Green Castle Indiana he lived in Ottawa Kansas City and the western states before settling in Baxter where he supported mining development and local business. Funeral services were held Tuesday, interment in Baxter cemetery. Builders Polster Bros plan a new 75 by 100 foot modern business house on Military street expecting occupancy by December first.
