Rainy wet conditions paused graveling of the east road. Two or three days more should finish the job. Road Overseer J T Weakley praised for assisting farmers and township people who led the effort.
The Chetepa road has been graded several miles and now lies in bad condition. If two weeks of dry weather occur, it might pack into a passable surface, but such dry weather cannot be relied upon this season. Spring or summer is the preferred time to grade roads.
