School Notes Emphasize Industrial Work and Exhibits

Attendance has been low due to measles. Beginning May 12 an exhibition of school work will run in the building next to the post office, featuring regular and special work from all grades plus industrial projects. The Board of Education plans greater focus on Domestic Science and Art, with clubs funding equipment. donations should go to the Domestic Science and Art Fund at The Baxter National Bank.

Local owners buy a Tennessee jack for Lincolnville farm

A group of residents M. B. Williams A W Price E M Harbour and L M Blanton all live on Route 2 and have bought a good jack. The animal stands 15 hands high and is considered of the mealy nose breed from Tennessee. The owners plan to raise a strong class of colts and keep the jack at Williams home a mile south and a half mile west of Lincolnville.
