A concrete road smoker will be held at 7 30 pm Friday in the Chamber of Commerce assembly room. The session includes the Chamber of Commerce and interested citizens to discussstarting a concrete road project. Fire damages Mrs Meeds residence on Lincoln Avenue
A Tuesday evening blaze at 6:30 reported at the Meeds home on Lincoln Avenue between Eleventh and Twelfth streets damaged the dwelling. Denny Moore, a barber, had burned dry grass nearby but thought all embers were out. The fire spread under weather boarding, causing about 50 dollars in house damage and 300 dollars of insured loss with no goods insured.
