Mrs Harriet Goodwin Dies After Long Illness
Mrs Harriet Elizabeth Goodwin widow of T H Goodwin died Monday morning July 10 at five o clock after a long battle with cancer in her right ear. Born May 31 1859 in Council Bluffs Iowa she was known as a cultured woman with a love for literature. Survived by six sons J Howard of Philadelphia Homer Harry Fred George Ed and one daughter Hazel of Baxter Springs and a sister Mrs Sarah Cooper of Denver. Funeral held at four o clock Tuesday at St Mark's Episcopal church Baxter conducted by Rev Robert Rhames with interment in Baxter Cemetery.
